How much budget do I need for studying abroad?
The budget for studying abroad depends upon your course and location preference.
It can range from approximately 5 lac PKR (for Turkey) to almost 40 lac PKR (for UK).
Does Upmark offer language preparation services?
Yes, partnered with British Council and Pearson, Upmark offers English language test preparation services, both online and on-campus. You may take online classes from anywhere and join our on-campus classes in Faisalabad and Sahiwal.
We offer following test preparations: IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, Duolingo, LanguageCert, Oxford.
Yes, you can explore options without the requirement of IELTS/PTE. You can apply with either alternative language tests or MOI (English proficiency letter) from your last institution.
Can I go after two year degree or diploma?
Yes, there are multiple options for students who have no degree but a two year diploma or have done a short course.
Can I go after a gap in my studies?
Yes, students can go for studying abroad with a gap in their education.
When should I start my application process?
For European destinations, you should start your application 8-10 months well in advance. For all the other destinations, you may apply at almost any point in the year, considering these countries have multiple intakes.
Is studying abroad in the USA a very expensive option?
No, studying in the USA is actually much more affordable compared to a lot of other countries like the UK or Europe. Roughly, it would require somewhere around 20 lac PKR.
Can my dependents travel with me?
Yes, there are several destinations and options for people who want to travel with their spouse or/and children.
What are the documents required to start an application?
For the processing of application, following documents are required:
Passport, CNIC, Educational documents (including transcripts and degrees from Matric till last degree), letters of recommendation (from last institution), CV, proof of English language, work experience letter/s (if any).
Can I apply without degree/final certificate?
Yes, if you have completed your degree in the last two years, you may apply with degree completion letter/certificate.
