And we're growing! **The Role** Our Manufacturing, logistics, Energy and utilities group is looking for a **Sr. Consulting Manager** to join our journey. We're looking for someone who is strong IT consultant in the **power generation (Utilities- Water/ Electricity) domain.** We're looking for **Senior** **Consulting Managers** who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a **Sr. Consulting Manager** (Senior Manager level position) this means leading a team of Consultants through a client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and serving as a the owner of a workstream; maintaining expertise in your domain; meaningfully contributing to the sales process through a mix of RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery; creating service offerings and/or client partner training materials; and contributing to People Care initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring. Apply now! **Responsibilities** + Work with clients to establish a clear connection between business goals/strategies to capability development, and implementation to achieving desired business value. + Define product / platform strategies and solutions focused in Utilities domain + Understand the scope and define business requirements with the business stakeholders + Map business processes to identify improvement in Utilities back-office operations + Prepare functional use cases, detailed user stories + Review test plans prepared by QA Team, Support UAT + Assist in resolving scope and requirements related queries + Manage change requests / enhancements / features + Work with cross-functional teams with different time zones + Advanced problem-solving skills + Ability to articulate requirements (good communication) + Create and maintain long-term working relationships with technology teams, functional counterparts, vendors, and business partners. **Qualifications** + The track record and experience to achieve the above, which includes ideally 8+ years of management consulting experience in the Utilities (Electric or water) domain, where at least 2 of those (though ideally 4+) have been technology (business or technical consultative) team lead experience + Has worked as an IT Analyst, IT Project Manager, IT Program Manager, IT Business Analysis or Product Management in the Utilities domain + Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically. + Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. + Show proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. + Have a proven track record of delivering successful consulting projects. + Display a deep understanding of the automotive sector including market trends and challenges. + Be adept at using data analytics to drive decision-making and strategy development. + Be capable of working effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities. + Show a commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry advancements. + Exhibit strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members. + Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes; the embodiment of Cognizant's Core Values of: Work as one, Raise the bar, dare to innovate, Do the right thing, Own it + Ability to travel if needed for business requirements + Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications preferred, but not mandatory **Note** **:** The candidate can be in any of the above-mentioned (Florida (Miami and Juno Beach), New Jersey, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA) **,** locations, we are currently hiring at multiple location. **Work Authorization** + Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) **Benefits:** Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: + Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off + 401(k) plan and contributions + Long-term/Short-term Disability + Paid Parental Leave + Employee Stock Purchase Plan **Disclaimer:** The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
