Job Summary The Golf Ball Collection Attendant at Chasing Aces Golf is responsible for efficiently retrieving golf balls from the driving range using specialized equipment, ensuring a continuous supply of clean and well-maintained balls for our guests. This role requires a commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and equipment upkeep, all while maintaining a high standard of service in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Golf Ball Retrieval: Operate the ball collection vehicle to efficiently gather golf balls from the range throughout the shift. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and report basic maintenance needs of the ball picker, range equipment, course equipment, perimeter fencing, and golf ball washing machines to ensure optimal operation. Safety & Awareness: Adhere to all safety protocols while operating machinery and working within the facility, remaining vigilant of guests utilizing the driving range. Range Upkeep: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the range by clearing debris, setting up hitting areas, and ensuring proper ball distribution. Communication: Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or guest concerns to management promptly. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and maintenance teams to support overall facility efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a golf facility or similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to operate small machinery safely (training provided). Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment: Primarily outdoors in a golf range setting. Exposure to varying weather conditions. Frequent operation of motorized equipment.
