The Opportunity
As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering digital assurance services, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. As an Intern, you will immerse yourself in a supportive role, observing and participating in projects to develop your skills and understanding of the audit and assurance landscape. In this role, you will be part of the Digital Assurance team, working alongside professionals who are committed to excellence in operational risk management, compliance auditing, and IT controls. Responsibilities
- Supporting audit and assurance teams in digital assurance projects
- Participating in the evaluation of IT controls and governance frameworks
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies and compliance standards
- Engaging in process reviews to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
- Collaborating with teams to conduct data quality assessments and validation
- Utilizing cloud engineering principles to enhance audit processes
- Contributing to cybersecurity risk management and governance strategies
- Applying artificial intelligence platforms to streamline assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from client support activities within the assurance sector
- Analyzing information security governance frameworks for compliance
- Conducting compliance auditing to align with regulatory guidelines
- Gathering feedback and actively listening to improve communication skills
- Exploring operational risk management techniques to mitigate potential risks
- Participating in testing methodologies to validate data quality assurance
- Assisting in the development of internal controls for accurate reporting and compliance
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school. Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school.
